Marketing Strategy | Journalist | Kellogg MBA

How do things work and how can we make them better? Welcome to my mind. My curiosity is a superpower. It helps me see opportunities for growth and innovation by asking the right questions.

One lingering question I’ve had is why are some countries poor and others rich. I’m a first-generation American born to Nigerian immigrants. My first trip to my cultural homeland at age 15 left me stunned at the level of poverty that I witnessed.

That trip sparked a flame in me to be involved in economic development work. I thought it would be through management consulting, but we know things rarely go as planned.

Instead, my curiosity inspired a career that’s given me a multidisciplinary skillset that’s hard to replicate.

I solved problems for clients at a top consulting firm I wrote the marketing proposal and pitched to Toyota to secure a 6-figure deal for a Nigerian nonprofit I’m a published business journalist

But I wasn’t satisfied. The curiosity in me knew that there was more that I could offer to the world. So, I went to business school to get my MBA at Kellogg.

While there, I rebuilt the Africa Business Club – and aha! The passion for Africa was enkindled again.

I’m applying all that I’ve learned through my career and business school to the most important growth market by building a strategy consulting firm that helps African companies expand to international markets.

If you want to learn more or work with me, shoot me an invite with a note.
