Chitra Agrawal is the founder of Brooklyn Delhi, a food company renowned for its premium Indian sauces and condiments. One of the best parts of running Brooklyn Delhi is the friendships I've made with fellow food artisans from NYC, some which go way back to my days selling prepared foods at pop-up markets across the city. All of us started hand making our products and some of us still do which is no easy feat.
Over the years I've weathered a lot of challenges and without this community I don't know what I'd do! We have held each other up during good times and bad. Here are a few of my old friends and some of the most talented food producers around that I got to hang out with at the Fancy Food Show this year.
