His professional journey includes positions such as Firefighter, Driver/Operator, and Emergency Medical Responder at a Local Fire Company in New York State.

Choire Sicha has also worked as Editor At Large for New York Magazine at Vox Media, LLC, Editor of the Styles section at The New York Times, and Executive Director of Partner Development at Vox Media, Inc.

His educational contributions extend to being an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Furthermore, Choire Sicha has co-founded The Awl, served as a Senior Editor at New York Observer, worked as a Reporter across various platforms, and held editorial roles at Gawker Media.

His diverse experience includes directorial positions at Debs & Co., Visual AIDS, and representing Paralegal at the HIV Law Project.
