This recent article from Forbes contributor Jordan McKee caught my attention. He’s definitely someone who “gets it” when it comes to where embedded finance is heading. He highlights how many of the big players in payments, including Toast and Shopify, are seeing tremendous growth in lending volume through their embedded working capital products. What’s behind this growth? McKee cites research suggesting that “nearly one in five (19%) businesses with fewer than 1,000 employees intend to take out a loan or line of credit in 2022.”

While improving access to working capital through loans and LOCs is an option, Resolve takes a different approach. Instead of providing loans, we provide companies with integrated risk and credit management solutions that include net-terms-as-a-service, streamlining AR workflows, and reducing DSO - all of this instantly increases working capital.

How many of those businesses in the survey data above wouldn’t even need a loan or line of credit if they just had better financial velocity? That’s the problem we’re working on solving every day at Resolve.
