Christian Klein is an accomplished international development professional with over 15 years of experience in international trade, private sector development, food security, and nutrition.

His expertise includes new business development, program management, project planning and implementation, financial and project management, and operations in conflict zones.

Christian has served in various capacities, such as operations manager and acting Chief of Party on a USAID funded program.

He possesses trade technical experience in WTO compliance, quality standards, SPS/TBT, border controls, and agriculture policy.

Christian Klein has a background in collaborating with high-level stakeholders from the U.S. government, foreign governments, donors, private sector, and civil society on policy issues.

He has a solid working knowledge of USAID and other USG policies and procedures, further enhanced by his diverse country experience in places like Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Egypt, Kenya, Pakistan, and more.

Christian Klein holds a Master's degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from James Madison University. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
