Had a great time shooting a new video for National Check Your Meds Day earlier this week. We'll be releasing the video next week. Many thanks to our special patient Katherine for sharing her story in the video.
In the meantime, check out this page and video about what questions to ask when you want to check your meds, caremore.com/checkmeds.

Yesterday, I drove my parents to Yale New Haven in Groton, CT to get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. I am sharing our experience so it can help more seniors book vaccination appointments. Major shout out to the scientists, health organizations and front line health care professionals who made this happen - thank you!
We drove over an hour to get the first available appointment. Both said it did not hurt at all. No lines. You must have an appointment, wear a mask and bring your email confirmation with you. No walk-ins allowed. On February 15th, they receive their second dose. Scheduling the appointment was difficult but the rest of the process was pretty easy.
If you have a senior family member or friend who may need help with scheduling the online appointment or other portions of this process, please reach out to them. My parents are independent and pretty savvy but they needed help so please do a friendly check-in.
If you are 75+ years old or helping someone who is 75+, go here to get an appointment in Connecticut, COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduler (ynhh.org) 18779182224. There are many ways to book appointments with other organizations but this one worked best for us.
Here's to all of the people who want vaccines receiving them very soon. Stay safe.
