Congratulations to all the honorees of this year’s HBA ACE Awards!   I’ve been a long-standing member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, proudly serving on their advisory board since 2018. So when they asked me to be a judge for this year’s submissions, it was a resounding “yes” for me.   The healthcare industry is full of dynamic women working tirelessly to improve access, outcomes, and inclusion. What better way to celebrate the companies and the women driving initiatives to accelerate gender parity and health equity.

Why does this matter to me? Because we live in a world where systemic barriers still exist for female talent and supporting and recognizing these efforts is crucial for a sustainable and equitable future.   Truth be told, with so many great entries, reviewing the submissions was way harder than I thought it would be. Learning about all the outstanding work by women across the industry only confirms what I already knew – women play an undeniably vital role in healthcare. Thank you for undertaking this important and groundbreaking work.
