Christopher Palmer

Assistant Professor at MIT Sloan

Christopher Palmer is an Assistant Professor of Finance at MIT Sloan School of Management with extensive experience and a strong academic background.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed his BA/BS in Economics and Mathematics from Brigham Young University.

Throughout his career, Christopher has held various roles in esteemed organizations such as being an Affiliate at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Banks of Boston and San Francisco.

Prior to his current position, he served as an Assistant Professor of Real Estate at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and was a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University as well as at MIT.

Christopher Palmer also gained valuable experience as a Summer Research Analyst at Compass Lexecon and as a Faculty Associate at the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics.

His diverse background in academia and research makes Christopher Palmer a well-rounded professional in the field of finance and economics.
