As leaders, entrepreneurs and founders command huge amounts of capital in our society. They also often act as role models for the rest of us, in particular as individuals that our young people aspire to become.
I am proud that at Balderton Capital we have opened up the conversation about the physical and mental challenges associated with Founding a company. This vulnerability should help our society more openly embrace the mental health challenges we face, particularly in the aftermath of COVID.

b. slightly more than 1 in 5 of our new investments have a female founder or ceo. this is higher than the industry average but we have a target which is 1 in 3 and we need to improve
