Connor Tumelty is a knowledgeable and dedicated Plant Biology Ph.D. student at UC Davis who holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Plant Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations from UC Berkeley.

Connor's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Genetics and Plant Biology with Honors from UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Classical Civilizations from UC Berkeley.

Throughout his academic journey, Connor has been actively involved in various organizations, serving as a Graduate Research Fellow at UC Davis, a Peer Advisor at UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources, an Undergraduate Student Researcher at USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), and an Internal Director at Queer Alliance Resource Center, among others.

Connor's diverse experiences also include roles such as Undergraduate Researcher at UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources, Golden Bear Orientation Mentor at UC Berkeley, Physics and Astronomy Lab Assistant at Undergraduate Lab @ Berkeley, and Education and Outreach intern at Queer Alliance Resource Center.
