A friend just told me: “Wait! You just got laid off and you're not even mad???”

🤯 I've just been laid off from Plenty® due to a restructuring, like a huge part of the company, and surprisingly, I'm not mad. In fact, my belief in Plenty’s mission remains strong. Having been an entrepreneur who's had to make similar tough decisions, I understand well the complexities behind such hard choices.

My journey at Plenty was enriched by remarkable colleagues who were incredibly talented, dedicated, and inspiring; they have profoundly shaped my professional path. I am very grateful for that!

A key aspect that has helped me is to embrace impermanence, always. When Stephen King, best seller horror novel author, was asked what is people’s greatest fear his answer was simple: “Change”

This change is just the start of another exciting chapter.

🎯 I’ll be exploring in priority Remote or NYC-based Product Management or Leadership roles, in software & technologies linked to complex often physical environments (think atoms & humans: hardtech, robotics, medical, manufacturing/industrial, deeptech, complex science, health, energy, aerospace, or hardware adjacent in general).

For the right opportunity, I’m open to exploring broader leadership roles in strategy, operations, or VC. Also, we could consider regular travel or relocate with my family (👋 Lison) to top US or EU cities.

✌️ I’m a Product person, a few-time Founder, and an EE/CS engineer with an MBA. I am experienced in building products, businesses, and teams in technology environments that involve complex processes and often blend SW, HW, and advanced sciences.

At Plenty, I played a pivotal role in scaling the world's largest vertical farm. We built and integrated one of the most advanced orchestration software ever created; think auto-pilot but for a high-throughput large-scale manufacturing plant. Making operators, engineers, AI, computer vision, machinery, and multi-ton robots work together like never before.

Before Plenty, as an entrepreneur, I built a combined industrial, retail, and medical technology start-up from scratch for 4 years. I led the product and operations teams, achieving millions in revenue and serving thousands of delighted customers from our Lafayette St (NYC) HEYWEAR Studio. HEYWEAR leveraged vertical integration, proprietary software, and advanced technologies to rethink eye care and eyewear manufacturing.

Before that, I've been in product roles at Airbus (Singapore) and in a B2C startup in SF, worked in VC, & co-founded 2 other tech startups (in neuroscience, & manufacturing automation)

🙌 You want to say hi, connect for the first time, or reconnect after some time; now is the perfect time. Feel free to reach out, comment, ping a connection in the comments, or share this post.

Also if you're interested in my ultra-talented ex-Plenty colleagues in various fields (SW, Data, ENG, Manuf, OPS...), let me know in the comments, and I'll share their details!
