Highlights
It's been over 15 years since I stopped eating meat.
Back then, I couldn't have foreseen how this deeply personal choice would significantly shape my professional path, guiding me to the alternative food & beverage space.
Today, The Associated Press published a project posing a question that I ask myself, in some shape or form, often: "Can we feed the world without starving the planet?" This in-depth piece takes a closer look at our global 'protein problem' and investigates the ways in which innovators are trying to solve it.
This is the work that makes me tick. Because there's a simple truth—our current food system cannot sustain our growing global population. We need new solutions; in fact, we need all the solutions we can get.
It's easy to fear the new, but it's braver to explore it—or if you're like me, embrace it. Food tech isn't our enemy. It's a necessary tool for our future.
This was a pinch-me moment.
Taking the podium to address over 4,000 people at the 2023 UCLA Anderson School of Management Commencement. It was an honor that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you again to my fellow EMBA graduates for giving me the mic. I’ll always be most proud that I achieved my main goal: making you proud.
