With over a decade of experience in libraries and nonprofits, Crystal focuses on technology, access, and instructional design. She has delivered numerous presentations at state and regional conferences, conducting more than 200 training sessions for volunteers, staff, and management. Crystal is passionate about introducing innovative strategies to instigate cultural changes within organizations.

Crystal pursued her education at San Jose State University, specializing in Library Science, while also holding degrees in Music - Flute Performance from San Francisco State University and California State University, Stanislaus.

In her professional journey, Crystal has held several significant roles including Senior Consultant at Colorado Department of Education's Public Leadership Development, Founder and Principal Consultant at Kixal, LLC, and Project Manager at Community Technology Network (CTN). She has also contributed as a Training Facilitator for Edge Initiative at Urban Libraries Council, Webinar Producer at TechSoup for Libraries, Director of Training & Programs at Community Technology Network (CTN), and more. Her diverse experience encompasses training, program management, facilitation, and library services.
