Daniel Oscar Baskoro is a distinguished young researcher from Indonesia, holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gadjah Mada University, a Professional program completion in Technology Innovation from MIT, and a Master of Science in Technology Management with Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University.

Oscar's research interests primarily focus on Industry 4.0 (industrial automation) and ICT for Development. He has garnered numerous prestigious awards globally, including recognitions from the World Bank, United Nations, Silicon Valley, and ITU in 2018, as well as being named Most Outstanding Youth by the Indonesian government in the same year.

Throughout his career, Oscar has excelled in various roles, serving as a Researcher/Ambassador of Google in Southeast Asia, former Head of Open Government Indonesia a.i at the Executive Office of the President, Republic of Indonesia, and accumulating four years of valuable experience with the United Nations, specializing in Digital Transformation. He currently holds advisory and consultancy roles in multiple companies and government entities.

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Oscar has been an instrumental Data and Technology Advisor for USAID and Senior Big Data Specialist for UNDP. He has a rich history of collaboration in research projects, digital transformation initiatives, and international speaking engagements across different countries.
