Highlights
Here is the story: I haven't spoke offline in front of even a small audience for several years, and honestly forgot how it's done. So instead I just went with the flow.
It wasn't quite a lecture, more of a whiteboard session. We focused on a specific, narrow topic of agency finances, discussing how to calculate cost, count the internal rate, what to include in it, and why. As you can tell, the topic is boring for anyone outside of b2b service business.
But I realized that these small whiteboard dialogue formats are the best. Not the "here's my 100 slides" type of lecture, but more like a group chat and consulting where we discuss specific questions that people bring up. There's almost a 100% chance that these questions aren't unique, and the answers will be valuable to more than one person.
Hopefully, that worked out. We'll try something similar in the future and dig deeper into the agency finance topic. There's a lot of content on design, creativity, and all things digital, but there's close to none on how to manage all of it and make it profitable. We'll try to change that.
