Highlights
Just finished a call with a client scrambling to patch their SSH servers after the latest vulnerability news (fully remote root RCE in SSH). It's a stressful situation I'm glad Teclada users don't have to deal with.
Teclada's zero open ports architecture is a game-changer when it comes to remote access security. By eliminating the need for inbound connections, we remove the attack surface that's the root cause of many SSH vulnerabilities. Rate limiters, internal VPNs, and even passwordless isn't enough when attacks can come from anywhere.
This aligns perfectly with GCP's recent recommendation to disable SSH's firewall access due to the critical risks involved. (https://lnkd.in/gaFdnGUi)

I had an amazing experience at Dell World 2024 in Vegas, where innovation was on full display. Amidst the excitement, I attended an after-party and met the fantastic team at Codeium. They showcased their incredible AI coding assistant in an on-prem demo box. Their code generation is lightning fast and produces multiple suggestions at once. It was the best UX I've seen for an IDE-based copilot— incredibly streamlined and focused.
However, despite having the world's best tech at their fingertips, they faced a common issue: connecting to their demo box due to restrictive hotel Wi-Fi. Teclada provides the solution for seamless connectivity across any environment, from complex enterprise networks to even hotel/conference Wi-Fi.
At Teclada, we've revolutionized remote access. Teclada makes remote terminal access effortless with just your browser, no matter the network or firewall. No SSH passwords or keys, just a seamless, secure connection. If Codeium had been using Teclada, they would have had instant access to their demo box, showcasing their AI assistant without worrying about network they were on.
A big thank you to Alex Laubscher and Jacob Addington from the Codeium team for their hospitality and impressive demo. I'm looking forward to trying out Codeium myself-- starting immediately!
