Dean Broadley is a South African designer and speaker who aims to make things more human.1 He is the Founder of Designing Humans and The School of Do.2 Dean is currently the Design Leader at Yoco and President of IxDA (Interaction Design Association).1

Broadley was also a Judge at The Webby Awards from January 2021.1 Additionally, he was a Design Leadership Forum Member at InVision starting in December 2018.1 Earlier in his career, Broadley held positions such as Owner at Dotcraft, Lead Product & UX Designer at Mxit, and Senior User Experience Designer at HelloComputer.1

Broadley attended AAA School of Advertising, earning a BA in Creative Brand Communications and Design (2009-2010). He also attended Rondebosch Boys High School (2003-2007) and Beau Soliel Music School (1998-2007).1

Broadley has received several honors and awards, including The Loerie Awards in 2011 and Bookmark Awards since 2011.1
