Highlights
Are you a bootstrap startup that hasn’t raised at least a couple of million in investments? Sorry, we’re not interested. Oh, you’ve raised funds, but you’re not a Y Combinator graduate, and Sequoia Capital hasn’t invested in you? Sorry, we’re not interested. You don’t live in Silicon Valley? Sorry, we’re not interested. You don’t have a former Director of AI from Google on your team? Sorry, we’re not interested. Isn’t your business technologically complex? Sorry, we’re not interested. Five journalists from TechCrunch didn’t recommend you? Sorry, we’re not interested.
Recognize this? I certainly do.
Let’s be honest—it’s silly to waste time, money, and effort chasing down journalist contacts, reaching out to them, and getting rejected or, more often, ignored because they (you name the reason) don’t want to write about you. They have their editorial policies, complex selection procedures, and all that.
But I believe every startup deserves attention, and there’s no logical reason why early-stage products shouldn’t get media coverage and materials they can reference in business development or fundraising.
So, we decided to change things for the better. We decided to build on what we started with Launchpad (short notes with backlinks about early-stage startups) and create our own media focused on early-stage startups within PitchBob.io, where there will be no barriers or discrimination—only a requirement for complete information about your business, no matter its stage of development.
I invite you to fill out the questionnaire https://lnkd.in/d46YTqYQ as thoroughly as possible (consider it a real interview, which it is, and it’s best to record your answers directly by voice on your phone). Be among the first (after sending it to our database, within a few hours, I already see 12 fully detailed stories).
Feel free to share the initiative.
Hey founders, no time to explain—drop ‘500’ in the comments to get access to a database of 500 places where you can promote your product! Manually collected by PitchBob.io content team ❤️
