Doug Adams is a highly accomplished individual with a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Doug has held various prestigious positions in academia. Some of his notable roles include serving as the Executive Director of the Institute of National Security, the Daniel F Flowers Professor and Distinguished Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering, the Vice Dean of Engineering, and the Associate Provost in the Office of Research at Vanderbilt University. He has also been the Kenninger Professor of Renewable Energy & Power Systems at Purdue University, in addition to roles as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Purdue University.
