Highlights
As many of you know I'm working with a startup that is building a new tool that helps engineering leaders see what their team is doing so they can manage them more deftly. Managers in software development spend almost half their time seeking status just because it's hard to see what's going on. This is not another metrics dashboard. It's about full visibility of your data.
Just as a teaser, the screenshot here shows the start screen where you can launch off into one of your saved searches (or start your own). This is a high-level starting point, but the tool also allows you to dive in to see very granular detail, and slice huge amounts of data very easily for incredible visibility into what your team is working on. And it would weird if I didn't mention how we're using AI, right? Well, I'll leave that for the demo, but given all the qualitative data in software development (ticket descriptions, commit comments, PR reviews, Slack messages, etc.) you can imagine how helpful AI could be.
If you see this message and you are an engineering leader (or work with one who might be interested) give me a shout. I would love to show a pretty mind-blowing demo and get some critical feedback at this early stage of the product.
I'm currently working on a product that helps software development teams get incredible visibility into everything that their team is working on. This includes product leaders and product managers. If you've ever asked the question, "what is the status of that work I defined?" then you'll probably dig it. Does anyone in my network (or their friends) have any interest in spending 30 minutes with me looking at the alpha version and giving feedback? You'll have my gratitude and if you end up loving it I can fast track you to the top of the waitlist.
