Edwin Acosta is a dedicated health professional with more than eight years of experience in healthcare, specializing in health outcomes research methodology, health policy/advocacy, and infectious and chronic diseases. His passion lies in studying population health and outcomes, particularly related to men of color, the HIV/AIDS population, and the LGBTQ+ community. With expertise in gender-based disparities in health behaviors and outcomes, Edwin brings valuable insights to healthcare organizations. Fluent in Spanish, he holds a Master of Science in Health Policy and Economics from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a High School Diploma from the International High School at La Guardia Community College.
