Highlights
Securing food donation partners is one of the first things we do at TED in preparation for our conferences. This, in addition to using plant-based milk as the default for all our barista bars, gives me much respect for this company's leadership and commitment to sustainability.
At #TED2024, I was entrusted to design 23 custom pop-up food and beverage experiences, but I see my role more in curation and vendor support: To be a bridge builder, humble learner, and coach in walking alongside inspiring talents in the food industry, as they prepare to execute their concept on the TED stage using their culinary artistry. So grateful and proud of each of you for trusting me, putting your best foot forward, and working with me on the concept designs through weekly phone calls the past few months so we can create an unforgettable experience for our guests together! My support for your business does not end here, and I have even more respect for the work you do for the community and your team. The food industry is one of the hardest to survive in, so remember to be kind to yourself and those under your care. 🙏
