Elizabeth Wood is the Founder and CEO of JURA Bio, Inc., a company dedicated to advancing genomic medicines for cancer and autoimmune diseases through cutting-edge synthetic biology and machine learning.

With a background in Physics, she holds an AB from Harvard University and a PhD from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where her research focused on controlling functionality in biological and biologically-inspired materials.

Elizabeth has a rich history of affiliations with renowned institutions, including being a Visiting Scientist at the Stanley Center at Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, a Post-doctoral Fellow at Harvard University, and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Copenhagen.

Prior to establishing JURA Bio, Inc., she was involved in various roles at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including working with the Angela Belcher Lab and founding the Pure Home Water Ghana project as part of the MIT Safe Household Water Program.

Elizabeth Wood's expertise lies in leading teams of professionals to drive innovation in the field of genomic medicine, incorporating synthetic biology, machine learning, and interdisciplinary research to develop personalized solutions for patients and partners.
