Erika Lennon is a highly accomplished legal professional with a strong background in environmental law and advocacy.

She holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from American University, Washington College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from the University of California, Berkeley.

Erika currently serves as a Senior Attorney in the Climate & Energy Program at the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL), where she contributes significantly to global environmental issues.

Her extensive experience includes roles such as Adjunct Professor and Coordinator of the Program on International and Comparative Environmental Law at American University Washington College of Law.

Prior to her current position, Erika worked as a Temporary Staff Attorney at Greenpeace US, gaining valuable insights into environmental advocacy and legal frameworks.

She also held prestigious positions as Dean's Fellow for Professor David Hunter and Legal Rhetoric Dean's Fellow at American University Washington College of Law.

Erika's commitment to community service is evident through her past roles as Hunger Education and Research Assistant at the Alameda County Community Food Bank and AmeriCorps Project SOLVE Member at the East Bay Conservation Corps.

Her dedication to public service is further reflected in her internship at the Grants Management Department of the Corporation for National & Community Service.
