Eva Xie

Eva Yi Xie is a sophomore at MIT with a joint major in Computer Science and Mathematics, focusing on the computational approach to life science, particularly in the field of ML/AI.

She is actively involved in research within the Biomechatronics Group at MIT Media Lab, where she explores the convergence of STEM and media art to enhance the integration of body and machine.

Her educational background includes studying a Science Bachelor - SB in Mathematics and Computer Science at MIT, after completing her High School Advanced Placement Diploma at The Bronx High School of Science.

She has also been involved in positions like Senior Advisor at TeenHacks LI, FBU Engineering Intern - IOS Track at Facebook, INSIGHT Participant in Software Engineering at Jane Street, Genomics Research Intern at Columbia University, and various research and organizational roles at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Eva's experience includes work as a Research Assistant at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, Organizer at TeenHacks LI, Teacher Assistant at Emath Prep. Tutoring School, and a Director at TeenHacks LI.
