Server Environments (or Deployment Environments) like Prod, Dev, Staging, etc. are essential in every tech setting. Yet many will often misunderstand or miss key requirements.
I wrote this based on my own frustrations and many discussions with other Engineers across big and small companies!

Like a decent amount of Software Engineers my age, my journey to programming started with Game Development. I've been interested in getting back into it these days, and I've noticed that many of the resources aimed at learning how to work with engines are rarely catered for someone who is already an experienced Software Engineer.
When I decided to pick up Unity, I ended up watching many tutorial videos at 2x skipping programming intros interspersed throughout. What I wanted was a written resource that just told me the concepts and hierarchies I needed to learn. So I decided to write one.
This is the first part of a multi-part series about introducing basic concepts in the Unity Engine to Software Engineers. For those of you who have been on-again-off-again intrigued with making games, hopefully this is what it takes to rekindle it!
