I am heading out tomorrow morning to attend my very last ISE® Summit & Awards in Atlanta on Thursday, June 20th and am experiencing many mixed emotions. I am, in a sense, very sad for this period of my life to end, but then again, I am very excited to see what retirement looks like. After all, isn’t this what we work towards, a time to reap the rewards we have sown? Leaving T.E.N is like leaving a family, after all, I have been there for 13+ years. And, had I not had heart surgery last year, I don’t know that I would be leaving. But those are the kinds of things that make you take a look at life and all the items on your bucket list still left to do. I am filled with gratitude for the friendships I have made and the people who made my time there so special. A special shout out to Christina Condos, my former boss at FOSE who recommended me and to Wendy Moore who obviously talked me up so well that Marci hired me sight unseen and flew me out to San Francisco to work RSA immediately. Hmm, Marci, notice something going on with RSA and hires? And of course there is Marci, who I will always be grateful to for hiring me after I hit a “certain age” when people were letting us go and not hiring us on. Marci, thank you for the faith you had in me, the friendship you gave, and the home you provided. You are a rock star and a dear, dear friend! Robert, I will be watching FB for your recipes, keep them coming. And Deb, my friend, and one of the hardest working people I know. What can I say that I haven’t said before? I may be leaving, but you will not get rid of me so fast. Darrin, remember, it takes a minute, but once you are there you are going to fly. (I’m sure I will hear from you 😊) And to all my sponsors – and execs who I have met through the years, I have enjoyed working with you and getting to know you. I will truly miss many of you. Thank you for all the great times! And now off to see what what the future holds…………
