Reaching out to my wonderful network to ask for some help. If anyone has any contacts or know of any opportunities in film or tv to help one of my daughters get her first step into the industry I would be most grateful. Caitlin completed her BA Honours in Film, TV and Media Production at Royal Holloway end of last year with a first class pass. She then went travelling and is now back and trying to find her first step into the industry. We have been told that the best way to “break into” the industry is through connections and networking, so whilst she is doing her thing to try, I thought I would reach out to my network to see if anyone can help. If I say so myself, she is an amazing young woman, who is very creative, organised, hard working, awesome sense of humour and a great communicator. She can talk to people at all levels. Of course she is looking to start at the very bottom so any work as a runner, location marshall, production assistant would be ideal. Even if it is only for a day, a few days, or a week to get a start!!! Thank you 🌸
It’s been a long time since I have posted, I’ve really been struggling with coming to terms with my audio vestibular condition. I couldn’t have imagined how hard it’s been to accept the limitations it has imposed on me. There have been many, many days where I have felt hopeless and helpless. BUT today I am feeling very HOPEFUL. I am on my way into London to start treatment with a new neurologist who has a much more progressive and holistic approach. I understand it will be a long process but I am praying that I will come out the otherside with a better daily quality of life, being able to do “normal” things again with ease and eventually to get back to the work I love. #raisingawarenessforaudiovestibularconditions #itsokaytonotbeokay
