Highlights
A few months ago I sent out a message to a group of people on the Qiskit slack channel. This weekend, we finished the first round of meetups across Bangalore, Delhi, and Hyderabad, where we had a total of over 300 participants who embarked on their journey into the world of #quantumcomputing, first learning about the potential and theory behind the field before diving into hands-on tutorials using IBM's Qiskit. Big thanks Rana for co-organizing the Hyderabad meetup with his hard work and local know-how that managed us to get over 100 participants. Also thank you to Samanvay for all the constructive feedback and discussions, and Junye for giving a great talk on quantum games and his own journey with #Qiskit.
Our group is called IndiQ and we are establishing a community of quantum computing enthusiasts across India through monthly meetups and workshops across India. We have more cities planned for the next meetup, so join our meetup page to stay tuned: https://lnkd.in/eVBRit3
On a more personal note, I am happy to say that I've been accepted into the Qiskit Advocates program, so you can expect more efforts from me in the future trying to prepare a quantum-ready generation :)
