In summary, I'm using 10+ years of experience in sustainability to work in the fashion industry as a conscious stylist. Last year, I completed a Sustainable Fashion certificate from Parsons School of Design - The New School, the best fashion school in America, and I've also gained an in-depth understanding of styling from courses at the University of the Arts London.
You might wonder where this all came from. If you know me, you probably don't have to ask. I was raised by my grandparents, who built a living off sewing and repairing clothes. Since I was a teenager, I invested my time in learning how to crochet, embroider, and make dresses from scratch to keep these skills alive. During the pandemic and the recession, these crafts helped me maintain my sanity. Slowly, I began to realize the transformative potential of this art and its ability to rebuild fashion as a conscious and loving industry.
We don't need another eco-friendly brand. We need to reshape our consumer habits. This is where I come in. I delve deep into your wardrobe and beliefs to ensure that you remember that the most sustainable piece of clothing is the one you already own. But it's of no use if you don't feel great wearing it. So, we build outfits until we find combinations that you love. I'll guide you through thrifting, mending, repairing, outfit repeating, and anything else it takes to develop your style. With confidence, you can tackle that interview, that client… the world is your oyster! And just like that, the planet and those who need it the most can also heal, as more people have a way to feel better about themselves that doesn't involve the same old shopping and polluting cycle.
