As I announced in December, I am stepping down as JustFix’s Executive Director at the end of March 2022, but will remain involved as a member of the Board of Directors.
As our staff grows and our tools reach more renters in New York City and beyond, my stepping aside creates space for new leadership to take JustFix to its next level of impact. The products we've built have served hundreds of thousands of vulnerable tenants, supporting them in securing repairs, fighting harassment, and preventing eviction. Our tools not only shed light on deliberately opaque systems but provide direct services to renters.
We co-created these extraordinary tools alongside our tenant users and our dozens of advocacy partners, and remain committed to these close partnerships. I am forever grateful to the housing justice community, the funders that have supported this unique organization, and JustFix’s staff and Board of Directors that carry our mission forward every day.
In our search for a new Executive Director, we first and foremost seek a candidate committed to forwarding our model of social change and nurturing close ties to our partners.
