Highlights
✅ Artificial Intelligence and Cities ✅
📌 There are 74 cities worldwide that have introduced Artificial Intelligence into their services. And there are 212 A.I. initiatives in these Cities. In Turin we are working to introduce an ethical and responsible A.I., which has the human being and citizens' rights at its centre.
➡ The topics on which A.I. is used are: ◾Social Services ◾Governance and Urban Services ◾Environment and Resources ◾Mobility ◾Infrastructures and Urban Planning ◾Economy and Business ◾Security and Resilience
📌 The City of Turin is part of the 'Cities Coalition for Digital Rights' network and collaborates with the “Atlas of Urban A.I.”.

The future of autonomous mobility is in Turin
📆 The City of Turin is very committed to mobility issues. With the EU's ENVELOPE Project, during the Pilot that will be held in Turin, the Local Police and the public ambulance service will validate an innovative methodology to access, in compliance with the GDPR, the data collected by the sensors on board the self-driving cars that will simulate a road accident.
✅ This will be finalized to assess the severity of the accident for the public ambulance service and to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident for the Local Police.
🎓 This innovative use case for road safety, which will be developed within the framework of the EU ENVELOPE project, will be also brought in Turin within the academy of the EU project Pactesur2, where many delegations of European local police forces will be trained. This will be in line with our aim to introduce intervention standards related to autonomous driving into the training.
👏 We would like to thank the people who made this innovative experience possible ◾ City of Turin Elena Deambrogio (Head of CTE NEXT and Torino City Lab) Giulia Terracciano (Project Manager Envelope Project) Eleonora Fiori (Project Manager Pactesur2) ◾ Links Foundation Daniele Brevi
