Gili Raanan is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as a Cyberstarter at Cyberstarts, a venture capital firm dedicated to supporting cybersecurity-focused entrepreneurs. With a rich background in investment, Gili is also a General Partner at Sequoia Capital, where he has been actively involved in investing in cybersecurity technology companies in Israel for more than 14 years.

Gili's educational journey includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Management Information Systems from Recanati Business School, along with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Throughout his career, Gili has been associated with various organizations, holding roles such as Board Member, Seed Investor, Chairman of the Board, and Cyberstarter. These include entities like Linx Security, Blockaid, Zafran Security, Oasis Security, Trustmi, Savvy, Transmit Security, Cyera, Legit Security, Island, Wiz, Fireblocks, Armis Security, Trail Security (which was acquired by Cyera), Avalor Security, Dazz, Noname Security, Bionic, and SafeBreach.

With a wealth of experience and a strong presence in the cybersecurity investment landscape, Gili Raanan continues to make significant contributions to the industry, nurturing the growth of innovative cybersecurity startups and entrepreneurs.
