With serendipitous perfect timing I did a thing.
When you work in Admissions and Recruitment for a programme which is 94% international, one of the best bits of the job is getting to meet and connect with so many interesting, diverse and inspiring individuals. I have always considered myself to be an LGBTQ+ Ally, just quietly getting on with it. However, a couple of recent interactions have made me come to realise that, not only does this mean people might not actually know you are there, sometimes other people need a voice when they don’t feel comfortable speaking up themselves. As someone who very often in life hasn't felt comfortable speaking up I could relate. I realised I needed to be more visible, more vocal, keep listening and more importantly keep learning.
