Throughout her decade-long journey in education, she has also served as a 4th Grade Lead Literacy Bilingual Teacher at Conroe Independent School District, where her leadership and expertise fostered a love for reading and literacy among her students. She has continuously worked to bridge educational gaps and promote equity in learning for her students.
Her experience also includes a significant role as the District Second Language Education Specialist at Alief Independent School District, where she collaborated with district leaders to implement effective bilingual and ESL programs. Additionally, her earlier positions as an ESL Teacher within the Houston Independent School District and as a Bilingual Teacher at Alief further solidify her comprehensive background in bilingual education and her commitment to meeting the needs of all learners.
