I came across this article on how a company can measure the Product / Market Fit and interestingly, author uses #Zoom to explain this metric. He also claims that "Zoom", the customer-centric company (or so I thought!), does not have the right #PMF but rather a Pandemic Market fit.

Just some food for thought, discussions are welcome

It was a sad sight for an enthusiastic shopper like me, when I had gone out this week for a family wedding #shopping. With the tiff between mall owners and Retailers over rental agreements not coming to an end, most shops were not open. The opened ones looked desolate.

Apparel & Fashion must have been one of the worst hit industries. Most brands have started accessorizing face #masks by launching them in different patterns matching their collections.

There would have been an End of Season sale in an otherwise normal season by now. But no retailer ran any discount. They must be in a dilemma whether to liquidate unsold inventory or attract only the serious buyers to step in.

Gaining customers' #trust is going to be of paramount importance. Retailers must ensure that their stores are a safe place to visit. A lot of these big retailers I visited did not even do temperature checks and a few just collected our names. A simple Tech solve to capture the customer details will later help in tracing and tracking.

What else should these retailers do to revive the interest in people to come out shopping while ensuring all the safety norms are followed, for physical retailing is one business that cannot pivot their offerings "digitally"?
