During my recent visit to Thailand, I had the privilege of exploring Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhor’s Mangrove Plantation, The Srinidhorn Environmental Park in Cha-am. #Mangroves are often overlooked, yet they are crucial to our global ecosystem. These unique forests store up to ten times more carbon than terrestrial forests and play a vital role in protecting coastlines, supporting marine biodiversity, and combating climate change.

This experience was a powerful reminder of why our work at ZERO13 is so important. By driving innovative climate fintech solutions, we aim to support the preservation and restoration of ecosystems like these, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

It’s not often I post about my children’s achievements, but I’m incredibly proud of my daughter, Ruhi Misra, for winning the University of Cambridge, Homerton College Essay Competition. Her essay, titled 'Person A: "Climate change isn’t real." How would you convince Person A to the contrary?' is an insightful exploration of how to address climate denialism—a crucial topic that aligns with our mission at ZERO13. Ruhi’s thoughtful approach, particularly her '5 Stages of Terminating Climate Denial,' demonstrates a mature understanding of the challenges we face in climate advocacy.

The competition itself is a prestigious program, encouraging students to engage deeply with current global issues, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring the next generation of thought leaders. I’m excited to see how she continues to pursue her passion for Geography and Environmental Sciences.
