Hong Hoang is a prominent environmentalist, the Founder, and Executive Director of CHANGE, a Vietnamese NGO dedicated to tackling environmental issues in Vietnam such as wildlife trade, climate change, air and plastic pollution. Recognized as a Climate Hero, she plays a vital role in leading the climate movement to combat coal expansion, reduce air pollution, and promote renewable energy. Hong's impactful work includes spearheading programs with WildAid to reduce demands for illegal wildlife products, especially focusing on endangered species like rhinos, elephants, and pangolins. Noteworthy achievements include being part of the Obama Scholars Program at Columbia University, being listed as one of the most influential Vietnamese women by Forbes Vietnam, winning the Green Warrior of the Year Award, and receiving accolades for her environmental efforts. With over two decades in environmental advocacy, Hong Hoang continues to drive change and raise awareness on pressing environmental issues.
