Ikumi Crocoll

Ikumi Crocoll is a highly-educated and experienced professional in the field of library and information science, with a diverse educational background. She obtained a Master's Degree in English literature from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science and Information (MSI) with a focus on Archives and Records Management from the University of Michigan, a B.A. in English with a minor in Music from Bowdoin College, and pursued English studies at the University of York. She also completed the IB Diploma at South Lakes High School.

Throughout her career, Ikumi has held various roles in different organizations. Her past positions include Instruction and Engagement Librarian at William Andrews Clark Library, Manuscripts and Special Collections Librarian at NSDAR, Reference Librarian at The Newberry, and Document Conversion Specialist at The University of Chicago. She also served as a Rare Books Assistant, Master of Arts Program in the Humanities Manuscripts and Archives Intern, and Reader Services Assistant at different academic institutions. Furthermore, she gained experience as a University Library Associate and User Information Services Assistant at the University of Michigan, in addition to roles such as Bookstore Clerk at Monroe St. Books and Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET). Early in her career, Ikumi worked as a Writing Project Writing Assistant, Publications Intern at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, Asian Studies Department Student Office Assistant, and Language Media Center Student Assistant at Bowdoin College.
