Last week, NIKE, Inc. marked a milestone fourth year of its Black Community Commitment (BCC), a 10-year, $140 million investment, made on behalf of Nike, the Jordan Brand and Michael Jordan, and Converse to advance racial equity and help eradicate systemic racism.
I was both proud and excited to attend our Path to Progress experience at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American Heritage and Culture in partnership with our collective Social & Community Impact teams, my fellow BCC Taskforce members and our grantee partners. It has truly taken a village to support this work and I’m grateful to everyone involved, particularly our partners in Boston and across the U.S. who are in the community, driving change every day.
