Happy International Women's Day! First, a reminder that every single person on this planet owes their existence to a woman. Second, as half of our human population are women, we owe thanks to the countless ways they influence our daily lives for the better. Third, I don't care what gender you may have been born, if you identify as a woman today - I celebrate you. Unfortunately there are parts of our world where women are not viewed as equals to men. There are parts of this world where women don't share the same rights and opportunities as others. And in all parts of this world, domestic violence, sexual assault and discrimination in all facets of life continue, and are higher in women. So even though I celebrate and thank all women today (and really all days) - I also think about all the injustices and what more can I do to help continuously move us in the right direction. To all women - THANK YOU. I am here and better because of you.

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as SVP, Head of HR and P&C Solutions at People Corporation!
I have had the remarkable privilege of working as a Partner for Mercer for the past two and a half years leading their Toronto Health office. I am grateful for my time there whose leadership, people, culture and clients are truly a global gold standard. I am grateful for the learning, opportunities and what I hope to be lifelong friendships developed locally and globally. I will miss everything about Mercer and what they stand for as they lead the charge on matters like gender equity, diversity and contributing to our communities.
While I reflect on the past with one set of emotions, I am also excited to return to People Corporation, to help drive the national expansion of our HR and P&C verticals. I look forward to working with my previous colleagues and meeting new ones, as we continue to redefine market excellence that gives clients and their people a reimagined service and solution that embraces new thinking and technology. Change is constant which drives holistic and agnostic innovation, and I’m privileged to be a part of People Corporation’s remarkable journey to make a difference in the lives of all those who call Canada home.
