Jack Gilbert

Jack Gilbert is a renowned Professor in Pediatrics and Marine Science, specializing in microbial ecology and molecular analysis.

He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Nottingham and studied Marine Biology at King's College London.

He is the Editor in Chief of the mSystems journal and has authored 'Dirt is Good', a popular science guide on the microbiome and children's health.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, he founded BiomeSense Inc for microbiome sensor development and is involved in the NIH's Nutrition for Precision Medicine program.
