Naupaka Zimmerman

Naupaka Zimmerman is an ecologist and teacher with a diverse background in microbial ecology, biogeochemistry, and environmental education.

He holds a PhD in Ecology from Stanford University and an A.B. with Honors in Environmental Science and Public Policy and Social Anthropology from Harvard University.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of San Francisco, Naupaka has also held positions such as Gordon and Betty Moore Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Arizona and Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Stanford University.

His academic journey includes roles as a Tutor at Stutors, a PhD Candidate in Ecology at Stanford University, a Teacher at IBS Academy, a Research Technician at Harvard University, and a Research Intern at USDA Forest Service.

Passionate about science and environmental education at all levels, Naupaka Zimmerman continues to make valuable contributions to the field of ecology.
