Do you know someone who could support The PA Foundation as its next trustee?

The PA Foundation is currently undertaking a search for a new trustee to join its Board.

Since we launched the Foundation in 2022 we have achieved a huge amount including distributing £3.3m and reaching over 12,000 people facing disadvantage across the UK, US, Nordics and Netherlands.

We are looking for someone who can support us to build on our success and help us deliver more impact in the years to come. We are focused on promoting education, skills and employment outcomes, particularly in STEM related fields so experience in this area would be preferable.

Having worked with the current Board over the past two years I can honestly say they are wonderful to work with and have been hugely supportive, constructive and dedicated to deliver the best possible outcomes for our participants.

If you are interested or know someone who might be, please refer to our application site or reach out to me directly if you would like to talk.

📅 Applications are due by Monday 20th May.

Last week was such a huge moment for me personally and professionally...

Through our PA in the Community programme I lead alongside Fiona Scott (FICRS) we won Social Mobility Initiative of the Year award at the British Diversity Awards!

As someone who grew up in poverty and attended a failing state school I have first-hand experience of the old adage ‘talent is evenly distributed but opportunities are not’. Despite this, I am so grateful for all the mentors and champions throughout my life who have supported me to thrive.

I am so proud of the work we do at PA Consulting to improve social mobility for thousands of people globally. Together with funding from #ThePAFoundation we seek to address socio-economic inequality by supporting those facing disadvantage, primarily those from low-income backgrounds, through activities that promote human and social capital. From employability, education, and skills to STEM learning, mentoring and work placements, we aim to raise aspirations and transform lives.

This couldn’t have been achieved without the support of so many including the hundreds of volunteers we work with every year and the amazing charities who deliver social change and impact for their participants every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in this success. I honestly believe I have one the best jobs in the world and I am grateful for all the opportunities given to me to be able to make a difference.
