Professional Background
James Coleman is a dedicated public servant and community advocate, recognized for his work as a State Representative in Colorado's House for District 7. A proud native of Denver, he was raised in the Park Hill neighborhood and currently resides in Green Valley Ranch, where he continues to champion the needs of local families and communities. Elected to his first term in 2016, James made history as the youngest member among the 100 Colorado representatives and senators.

James earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, complemented by a minor in Business Administration, from Oral Roberts University. His educational background equips him with an understanding of the social dynamics affecting communities, as well as the management skills necessary for effective public service.
James' earlier career included pivotal roles focused on community involvement and educational outreach. Before entering the political realm, he served as Vice President of Community Engagement at ACE Scholarships, where he was instrumental in connecting families with educational opportunities. He also worked as the Director of Programs and Community Outreach at ACE Scholarships, further establishing his dedication to improving educational access for students across Colorado.
In a different vein, he has provided fitness guidance as a Fitness Consultant at 24 Hour Fitness and has developed valuable skills in project management and IT staffing during his internship at CenturyLink. This diverse professional experience has paved the way for a comprehensive perspective on community needs, combining health, education, and technology into his public service approach.
