I worked for Meta this past year as an iOS engineer, and unfortunately received the news that I was included in this morning’s layoffs. It’s a wave of emotions, for sure, but right now I’m reflecting on what an incredible experience it has been. This past year I’ve been working on video infrastructure for Meta’s iOS apps — making sure your videos play, and that they play correctly! I’ll miss working in this exciting, fast-paced space. I’ll also miss my team. They were among the most creative, supportive and hardest working people I’ve worked with.

If your company is in need of an iOS engineer, feel free to drop me a message — I’m open to work and excited for the next challenge.

Also, if you’re reading this and have been affected by the recent layoffs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’m happy to support you with your job search, interview prep, and by lending an ear.
