James Wattley Carras is a professional known for helping organizations tell compelling stories, fostering community engagement, and driving philanthropic initiatives for positive societal impacts.

He holds a Master of Science in Management Studies from the University of Miami Herbert Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has also participated in the Summer Scholars Program at Peking University.

With a diverse educational background that includes studies at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, James has built a career in various roles that include being the Partnerships Lead at FreeWill, former Assistant Development Director for Major Gifts at the University of Miami's College of Engineering, and former Development Director for Annual Giving at the same institution.

His professional journey also includes experiences such as being the Development Director for Parish & Donor Relations at the Orthodox Christian Network (OCN), a Field Organizer for the Florida Democratic Party, a District Intern for Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz at the U.S. House of Representatives, and a Fenway Park Tour Guide for the Boston Red Sox.

James has also contributed as a Social Media Manager at the Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) and showcased his photography skills as a Staff Photographer at The Daily Tar Heel.

Throughout his career, James Wattley Carras has demonstrated a passion for storytelling, community building, and fostering philanthropy to drive positive change.
