He studied Philosophy and Economics at Universität Bayreuth, further enhancing his knowledge by studying Économie Politique at Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth and Rettungssanitäter at Landesrettungsschulen Baden & Württemberg.

Jan-Frieder Damm is the Founder and Chairman of the Food and FoodTech Expert Group at Bundesverband Deutsche Startups, showcasing his leadership and expertise in the food industry.

Prior to his current role, he founded Daizu GmbH and served as the Curator at Startup Camp Berlin, underlining his entrepreneurial spirit and contributions to the startup ecosystem.

Jan-Frieder Damm has a strong academic background, having served as a Student Assistant in "Philosophy & Economics" at the University of Bayreuth and as a Tutor in Academic Writing and Presenting at the same university.

He has also been engaged in research activities, serving as a Research Assistant at the Professorship for International Governance and as a Member/Author at Re-Think.
