Hey PDX frequent flyers and PDX travel fans! Exciting news - the new terminal opens today, thanks to the hard work of over 30,000 individuals!

Let's celebrate this remarkable achievement by tagging yourself, a family member, or someone you know who contributed to this Port of Portland project or any enabling projects.

I'll kick things off by mentioning Skanska Hoffman Construction Company JV.

What a fantastic celebration at PDX! A whopping 30,000 individuals played a crucial role in bringing this project to life. Huge congratulations to everyone involved!

Congratulations Curtis Robinhold and to the entire Port of Portland team, whose Shared Prosperity ethos was instrumental in making this vision a reality. A special thank you for emphasizing equity in procurement and fostering partnerships with community organizations like NAMC Oregon! A shoutout to ZGF Architects for their beautiful design on this project. And to our tribal nations The Yakama Nation, the Coquille Indian Tribe, the Skokomish Indian Tribe, and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians—what an amazing partnership with harvesting the local timber sustainably to make this project real.

The positive energy at the event was truly inspiring. Portland’s future is looking bright.

Can’t wait until my next trip and return home through PDX! Maybe I’ll hold off feeding the llamas next time.
