Jasmine Yiyuan Qin is a hybrid changemaker with a diverse background in natural resources management, disaster resilience, and digital development.

With over a decade of academic and professional experiences, Jasmine's work is driven by data-driven and humanity-centered design and research practices to create a more sustainable and just world.

Having lived, studied, worked, and traveled in over 30 countries, she is multilingual, speaking Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish, and is passionate about photography, dance, art, music, and climbing.

Her educational journey includes degrees from prestigious institutions like Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University, and Colby College, where she studied Integrated Design and Management, Data Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Studies, Economics, Music, and Urban Studies.

Jasmine has been involved with various organizations and roles such as Social Innovation Fellow at Open Avenues Foundation, Growth & Partnership Intern at Upstream Tech, Climate Resilience Fellow at MIT, and Associate at World Resources Institute, among others.

Her professional background also includes research, data analysis, GIS, and photography roles at organizations like World Wildlife Fund, Tropical Resource Institute, and Regional Plan Association.
